his funeral is finally over…
truely rest in peace after everyone celebrated his life for more than a week after his death…
watched his funeral memorial service on 8th July morning until 4am!
surprisingly not so sad when watching his memorial service… i felt more sad when watching back his MTVs which show the very best of him
alot of artists performed at the memorial service to pay tribute to MJ
Mariah carey gave a beautiful opening stage performance!
some gave speeches of how he had a beautiful life and all
and i think, Rev Al Sharpton had the best and most powerful speech!
some even cried during the speech…

just to share my little thoughs..
what i do not understand is why people never support him when he is being accused of child molest, and only stood up for him when he is already dead?
but maybe that is how human behave, we usually see the flaws in a person and magnify it to the fullest when one is still alive and being very famous; we then only recall back the goodness of that person after it is too late for us to appreciate that person…
we should change the way we judge people, “minify one’s weak points and focus/magnify on the strong points”
i know, it’s easier said than done
even myself have to learn that from the beginning
i learned alot from studying MJ’s song lyrics
especially “Man In The Mirror”, very very meaningful !

back at the memorial service, there are some very well said sentences from the speeches the artists gave:
Queen Latifah: “Michael Jackson was the biggest star on earth!”
Berry Gordy: “when he did his iconic moonwalk, i was shocked, it was magic!”
“the more I think and talk about Michael Jackson, I feel the King Of Pop is not big enough for him. I think he is simply the greatest entertainer that ever lived”
“you will live in my heart forever, i love you”
Rev Al Sharpton(best speech given): “as you climb up steep mountains, sometimes you scar your knee, sometimes you break your skin, but dont focus on the scars, focus on the journey”
“i want his 3 children to know, there wasnt nothing strange about your daddy, it was strange what your daddy had to deal with!”
Smokey Robinson: “but he will never really be gone, he is goin to live forever and ever and ever and ever!”
MJ’s famous sentence: “There’s nothing that cant be done if we raise our voice as one”
MJ’s favourite song ‘SMILE’ by charlie chaplin, one of the meaningful song line: “Smile though your heart is aching”
Pastor Lucious Smith: “he is often imitated but not duplicated”
(he is correct…MJ can never be replace by anyone else who imitated him)

for me, the most touching moment in the memorial service, it wasnt the moment that his daughter burst into tears on stage giving speech, it was the ending moment when MJ’s brothers wheeled out his coffin while playing the man in the mirror music…..it felt like a real goodbye to MJ…..

goodbye my idol….as said by Berry Gordy, Michael…thank you for the joy, thank you for the love, you will live in my heart forever! i love you!

memorizing MJ

i am so sad….. T_T
Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, had passed away on Friday 26th June 2009, morning 5.21am (Malaysia time) at the age of 50… he died of cardiac arrest…
lost of a fantastic, talented performer…
i have grew up listening to his songs, he was my super duper idol even way before leehom’s time
no one can ever replace MJ, he will forever be no.1 in my heart..
even though he had been weird and alot of those bad news or stories about him at his late years, but undeniable he is STILL the king of pop!
he rocked each and everyone’s world during his peak years with his moon walk, his signature “aoooww~” scream, his 招牌 touching-the-groin 动作, his dance movements, and all of his fantastic songs and MTVs!
he had contributed so much to the world with his songs which call on people to make a change for a better world, to stop the war, to care for the abandoned children, to care for the people in the 3rd world country, to heal the world from plants and animals going into extinction and global warming, etc… his songs had brought so much attentions into these problems which we have neglected in life
he even donated millions of dollars to charity
he had done so much for the society, the world, and also for mother nature!
his love for the world had no doubt made him the BESTEST performer in the whole wide world!!
he created a legend where no one else in the music industry can ever replace!

as i listened back to his songs and watched back his MTV yesterday, memories came back, the feelings of how much i have admired him during my youth, how regret i am when i’m not able to attend his concert in malaysia yearsssss back, how me and my sister have poured soap water all over the bathroom and try learning how to moon walk, how my class mate in primary school Lee Qai-Lun used to show off to me in class that he knows how to moon walk, how my grandpa used to walk me to the Laser Disk renting shop to rent the MJ movie and his classic MTVs to watch, etc… all the feelings hit back onto me when i was listening to his songs on Hitz FM, and when i listened to the listeners calling in to share their pain of losing MJ, i canot help but break into tears….

of all MJ’s songs, i have love “Remember the Time” THE MOST
i was so addicted that i had to play the song or watch the MTV over-and-over-and-over again for at least 10 times everyday!
in the MTV, the part which i love the most is the last part where the Egyptians coming out to dance after MJ kissing the queen. niceeeeeee~
and his song “Thriller” really did thrilled me at the last part where the guy told the long story with an eerie voice…. and the laughing at the end was the worst part of all!…..
“Man in the Mirror” is the most touching song of all! notice his concert MTV, when he sang this song, everyone (and i mean EVERYONE) got touched and eventually break into tears, even myself….
试问续猫王Elvis Presley之后，还有哪位艺人可以在个人演唱会里唱一首歌而使全场的观众感动流泪？甚至多人因激动而晕倒去，多疯狂！

as i checked my room last night, i still have a few of his album cassettes kept in my drawer..
i will forever keep these treasures nicely as they are my sweet memories for MJ..
all i have to say is…
you really did rock my world MJ!! i love you always and forever will… rest in peace my beloved idol…..

再见了我的童年我的偶像…………….T_T
